Our Philosophy
The aim of sustainable development is for societies to adopt a standard of living that is commensurate with – and balanced against – resources that are naturally available, thus helping to protect the right of every person of present and future generations to live in an environment beneficial to his or her health and well-being.
The ability to enjoy the environment is an established right for every individual, and every individual has the duty to pass it on to future generations. This responsibility must also be shared by environmental professionals, who must respect the scientific laws of ecology in their work. This is why, as professional ecologists, we have grouped together to establish an association and published a code of ethics that each member has committed to follow [1].
On the basis of these principles, Bio-Eco undertakes to promote a sustainable development that is beneficial for both the environment and human beings.
